  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method :

  2. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until translucent and fragrant.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and water, then let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan, and dried oregano.
  5. Spread 1 cup of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer 3 noodles over the sauce, followed by 1/3 of the ricotta mixture and 1/3 of the mozzarella.
  7. Repeat the layers twice more, finishing with a generous layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
